Proof of Concept Field & Model Farm Network Tour

Join Collective Impact & Nature United on August 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Proof of Concept Field, north of Star City, Saskatchewan, for an engaging and informative Field Tour Day showcasing a diverse range of regenerative agriculture practices—all demonstrated within a single field setting. This unique event will highlight practical, innovative approaches that support soil health, water conservation and protection, biodiversity and beneficial insects, farm resilience, productivity, and long-term sustainability.

Attendees will hear from a variety of knowledgeable and engaging speakers, including Kevin Elmy of Cover Crops Canada and Imperial Seed, Warren McAuley and Leah Blechschmidt of Nature United, along with members of the Collective Impact team. The day will cover a wide range of topics related to regenerative agriculture, on-farm innovation—including a drone seeding demonstration—and the future of farming. Whether you're looking to learn, connect with others, or discover new ideas for your own operation, this event will offer valuable insights, practical takeaways, and meaningful conversations.

The day will also feature great food, excellent networking opportunities, and information about the Model Farm Network and its ongoing work and initiatives.

To make transportation to and from the Proof of Concept Field easier, a bus will depart from the Star City Elks Hall, located at 136 4th Street, Star City, at 9:45 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 9:30 a.m. to allow plenty of time to board the bus before departure.
